Regional OPEN DATA CHALLENGE 2024 (RODC 2024)

The Regional School for Public Administration (ReSPA) and the United Nations Development Program in Serbia (UNDP Serbia) are announcing the Regional Open Data Challenge 2024 (RODC 2024).

The RODC 2024 aims to promote the innovative reuse of open data across ReSPA Members (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia) to enhance transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, and effectiveness in service delivery and design.

Participants are invited to develop mobile or web applications using OPEN DATASETS AND OTHER PUBLIC DATA PUBLISHED BY PUBLIC SECTOR BODIES ACROSS RESPA MEMBERS, INCLUDING DATA FROM OPEN DATA PORTALS. The challenges include:

Challenge 1: Mobility and Transportation Data,

Challenge 2: Workforce Mobility,

Challenge 3: Tourism Atlas, and

Challenge 4: Demographic Trends.

The total award fund distributed among winners is $20,000. The deadline for submitting the application is May 3, 2024, 23:59 CET.
